DNA ANALYSIS EXPLANATIONS

Our lab tests 16 core and dozens of secondary genetic markers that contribute to skin protection and premature aging and can play a big role in your skin’s future well-being.

The genes tested are cataloged according to their structural, functional, and metabolic effects on the skin.

Each Skin DNA category provides 1 of 3 outcomes: High Risk, Medium or Low Risk.

  • Collagen: High Risk 1-31% | Medium 32-70% | Low Risk 70-100%
  • Glycation: High Risk 1-50% | Medium 50-99% | Low Risk 100%
  • Pigmentation + UV: High Risk 1-57% | Medium 58-75% | Low Risk 76-100%
  • Antioxidant Protection: High Risk 1-56% | Medium 57-70% | Low Risk 71-100%
  • Sensitivity: High Risk 1-56% | Medium 57-69% | Low Risk 70-100%

How does your skin compare with the rest of the population?

Yudoyu’s partner lab SkinDNA® has established one of the world’s largest derma genetics databases with more than 2 million DNA profiles*.

Our data allows us to discover distinctive skin aging traits shared between groups of people.

Your Skin DNA Risk Scores

Collagen + Elasticity
Collagen Breakdown
YOU - LOW RISK 100%
GLOBAL AVERAGE 68%

Your natural collagen production is optimal, which is great news for countering breakdown. Good job, genes!

Glycation
Wrinkling (Glucose Related)
YOU - MEDIUM RISK 50%
GLOBAL AVERAGE 39%

Your body has a genetically reduced ability to break down glucose. Excess glucose has been linked to age-related traits, like wrinkles. Don’t worry! Your plan contains great suggestions for counteracting this tendency.

UV-Pigmentation
Pigmentation + UV Damage
YOU - MEDIUM RISK 60%
GLOBAL AVERAGE 72%

You may have an added risk of developing uneven skin tone and sun sensitivity due to insufficient melanin production and other skin functions that protect against sun damage. Below, you’ll find great products and more to get your skin GLOWING!

Free Radical Damage
Free Radical Damage
YOU - MEDIUM RISK 63%
GLOBAL AVERAGE 62%

Your results suggest a lower capacity to produce vital antioxidants and a higher susceptibility to environmental pollutants. Be sure to review your recommendations and give your skin added nutrition!

Sensitivity
Skin Sensitivity
YOU - LOWER RISK 70%
GLOBAL AVERAGE 79%

Your genes show that you have a normal inflammation response to common irritants. Be aware that some chemically-laden products may still cause your skin to have a reaction. If you notice redness or irritation, stop using them.

YOUR BEST LIFESTYLE PLAN

Add these easy-to-do lifestyle habits to your daily routine.

  • Implement a low-sugar diet to help fight wrinkles.
  • If you smoke, STOP! Smoking is one of the leading contributors to free radical damage and oxidative stress, leading to fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Limit UVB exposure, and use sun protection daily to reduce the incidence of irregular pigmentation and wrinkles.
  • Getting 7-9 hours of sleep each night will allow your skin’s natural defenses to fight free radical damage and oxidative stress.
  • Drinking at least six 8-oz glasses of water daily can re-plump our skin and minimize the appearance of dehydration lines under our eyes and elsewhere on our faces!

YOUR BEST TOPICAL INGREDIENTS

Look for these topical ingredients when shopping for skincare.

  • Blueberry Extract: breaks down wrinkles caused by sugar
  • Lactic Acid and other AHAs: treats surface signs of fine lines and wrinkles

  • Turmeric – Inhibits melanin production and protects from sun-produced free radicals
  • Azaelic Acid – Reduces tyrosinase, an enzyme that leads to hyperpigmentation

YOUR BEST DIETARY SUPPORT

Please consult your doctor before you begin a new dietary plan.

  • Thiamine (B1) improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Alpha Lipoic Acid is a top level Free Radical Scavenger

Facial Massage

Smooth wrinkling and chase away free radicals!

Lymphatic Facial Massage MapLymphatic drainage is a facial massage to boost the body’s natural draining system. The face is left visibly more lifted, firm, and youthful by assisting in the movement of excess toxins, water, fats, and proteins down the lymph vessels and into the nodes!

Step 1: Apply treatment oil or cleansing balm of choice. Fingers should not drag but glide easily over the skin with little to no resistance.

Step 2: Follow the directional guide demonstrated in the illustration. Using light pressure, gently massage the face upwards and outwardly. Pressure should be not unlike moving a pen across a table. The key is to lift and relax muscles! If redness occurs, lighten the pressure.

Step 3: Finish with a glass of water, herbal tea, or warm broth for added hydration.

What if I’m doing this wrong?

If you are working in upward and outward motions with light, relaxing amounts of pressure, you are certain to fight against one of the main causes of wrinkles – gravity.
