DNA ANALYSIS EXPLANATIONS

Our lab tests 16 core and dozens of secondary genetic markers that contribute to skin protection and premature aging and can play a big role in your skin’s future well-being.

The genes tested are cataloged according to their structural, functional, and metabolic effects on the skin.

Each Skin DNA category provides 1 of 3 outcomes: High Risk, Medium or Low Risk.

  • Collagen: High Risk 1-31% | Medium 32-70% | Low Risk 70-100%
  • Glycation: High Risk 1-50% | Medium 50-99% | Low Risk 100%
  • Pigmentation + UV: High Risk 1-57% | Medium 58-75% | Low Risk 76-100%
  • Antioxidant Protection: High Risk 1-56% | Medium 57-70% | Low Risk 71-100%
  • Sensitivity: High Risk 1-56% | Medium 57-69% | Low Risk 70-100%

How does your skin compare with the rest of the population?

Yudoyu’s partner lab SkinDNA® has established one of the world’s largest derma genetics databases with more than 2 million DNA profiles*.

Our data allows us to discover distinctive skin aging traits shared between groups of people.

Your Skin DNA Risk Scores

Collagen + Elasticity
Collagen Breakdown
YOU - HIGHER RISK 38%
GLOBAL AVERAGE 68%

A genetic imbalance indicates that more collagen is breaking down than is being produced. We have a plan to help improve firmness and elasticity.

Glycation
Wrinkling (Glucose Related)
YOU - LOW RISK 100%
GLOBAL AVERAGE 39%

Blood sugar levels can affect the appearance of your skin, in addition to your overall health. Your body is working at optimum levels for breaking down glucose. Great job, genes!

UV-Pigmentation
Pigmentation + UV Damage
YOU - HIGHER RISK 55%
GLOBAL AVERAGE 72%

You have a higher probability of experiencing irregular pigmentation (freckling/brown spots) and burning UVB (Burning) ray damage. Your results also indicate some vulnerabilities in protection and repair against UVA (Aging) rays that aim to protect your skin from the sun. We will help you offset this risk with targeted antioxidants and added sun protection.

Free Radical Damage
Free Radical Damage
YOU - HIGHER RISK 53%
GLOBAL AVERAGE 62%

You may have a reduced ability to produce essential antioxidants. Your results also suggest that you are likely sensitive to Environmental Pollutants. Living a healthy lifestyle will improve your radical production. We have great recommendations for you!

Sensitivity
Skin Sensitivity
YOU - MEDIUM RISK 65%
GLOBAL AVERAGE 79%

Your body may overreact to everyday irritants. This oversupply may cause rashes, redness, or irritation. You may also be more prone to chemical sensitivity issues from exposure to pollution, perfumes, and highly active products. We’ve recommended some great products to strengthen your skin barrier and reduce inflammation.

Healthier, Happier Skin is Achievable

Here is your personalized skincare plan based on your results!

YOUR BEST LIFESTYLE PLAN

Add these easy-to-do lifestyle habits to your daily routine.

  • If you smoke, STOP! Smoking is one of the leading contributors to oxidative stress, which can damage skin cells.
  • Limit UV exposure, and use sun protection daily to reduce the incidence of irregular pigmentation and UVA skin sensitivity.
  • Limit your use of sugar, salt, and alcohol, as they can cause an inflammatory process that produces enzymes that breaks down Collagen

YOUR BEST TOPICAL INGREDIENTS

Look for these topical ingredients when shopping for skincare.

  • Coenzyme Q10: increases collagen and elastin production
  • DMAE Bitartrate: A firming agent that’s been shown to improve the appearance of sagging skin
  • Vitamin E – Helps prevent UV-induced free radical damage to the skin.
  • Vitamin C + Ferulic Acid – Provides added UVA and UVB damage support while reducing pigmentation.
  • CoEnzyme Q10 – Protects skin cells from Free Radical Damage
  • Antioxidants – Like Acerola Cherry, Beta Glucan, Hibiscus, Kakadu Plum, Raspberry Oil
  • Matrixyl 3000 Peptide – Helps to replenish skin’s surface and calm visible signs of sensitivity.
  • Olive Leaf Extract – Reduces redness and increases vascular flow

YOUR BEST DIETARY SUPPORT

Please consult your doctor before you begin a new dietary plan.

  • Resveratrol for those at risk for Free Radical Damage, Collagen Loss, and Skin Sensitivity
  • Omega-3 for those at risk for UV Damage, Collagen Loss, and Skin Sensitivity
  • Lycopene for those at risk for Pigmentation
  • Probiotics for those at risk for Skin Sensitivity
  • Use Bone Broth when making soup for delicious flavor and bioavailable collagen
  • Carrots and tomatoes for added protection from UV damage
  • Fish for its Omega-3 oil that can increase sun protection and make your skin glow! Its protein surely will help support your collagen as well!

YOUR BEST PRO TREATMENT SPLURGE

These minimally-invasive professional treatments will benefit your skin’s texture and make you glow!

  • Low Concentration AHA Chemical Peel (Lunchtime Peel)
  • LED Therapy (635nm or 880nm) – Safely increases collagen production and helps reduce inflammatory responses without heat.

Facial Massage

Smooth wrinkling and chase away free radicals!

Lymphatic Facial Massage MapLymphatic drainage is a facial massage to boost the body’s natural draining system. The face is left visibly more lifted, firm, and youthful by assisting in the movement of excess toxins, water, fats, and proteins down the lymph vessels and into the nodes!

Step 1: Apply treatment oil or cleansing balm of choice. Fingers should not drag but glide easily over the skin with little to no resistance.

Step 2: Follow the directional guide demonstrated in the illustration. Using light pressure, gently massage the face upwards and outwardly. Pressure should be not unlike moving a pen across a table. The key is to lift and relax muscles! If redness occurs, lighten the pressure.

Step 3: Finish with a glass of water, herbal tea, or warm broth for added hydration.

What if I’m doing this wrong?

If you are working in upward and outward motions with light, relaxing amounts of pressure, you are certain to fight against one of the main causes of wrinkles – gravity.
